Our Rooms

Bunny Room
Our Bunny room provides a warm, nurturing environment where little ones feel safe, secure and valued. We encourage curiosity through gentle exploration and sensory rich experiences that support early development.
In this cosy environment, babies from 5 months enjoy a dedicated space filled with engaging resources that stimulate their senses, promote discovery and build confidence.
We place great importance on building strong trusting relationships with each baby/infant and their family by creating secure attachments that help them feel settled and supported.
The Bunny Room is equipped with soft, safe areas for play, exploration, and rest, ensuring your little one’s comfort and well-being is prioritised.
Through gentle interactions and engaging activities babies in our care are exposed to early communication through singing, stories, talking and responsive interactions helping them to develop listening skills, understanding and confidence in expressing themselves.
We support early physical development, from tummy time to crawling and beyond by providing opportunities for movement building core strength and coordination.
Here, your baby will start their journey of growth and discovery in a caring, attentive environment.

Hedgehog Room
Our Hedgehog Room offers a warm, stimulating environment where children from 15 months can grow in confidence and independence. Through hands-on play and purposeful activities young children are encouraged to explore, make choices and develop their curiosity through sensory play, creative experiences, outdoor learning and active movement.

We place a strong focus on the prime areas of development recognising that these form the foundation of future learning. Staff support communication and language through songs, stories, labelling and repetition. Children learn to join in with action songs, clap and move to music, and transition from walking to running, jumping and climbing.

Alongside physical development, we gently nurture emerging social skills. Children begin to play alongside others and show an increasing desire to be independent.

Badger Room

Our Badger Room provides a rich environment for children from 2 years old helping children to grow in confidence, coordination and independence as they become more active and socially aware. Children begin to move from playing alongside others to engaging in cooperative play. With gentle guidance and support they learn to take turns and manage their emotions.

Staff provide activities to support physical play such as running, climbing, balancing and riding trikes helping children to develop strength, control and spatial awareness. While creative activities like mark making, building and using tools strengthen fine motor skills and hand eye coordination.

Through stories, songs, conversations and imaginative play we encourage language skills, children begin to put 2-3 words together and start to develop conversation.

Children are encouraged to become more independent with hand washing, dressing, feeding themselves and managing their personal belongings. We work closely with families to support toileting in a sensitive and positive way, promoting confidence, dignity and readiness at each child’s own pace.
